Dangerous Liaisons by @chrisofili @davidzwirner in NY until 19 July. Calypso , in some myths the daughter of Oceanus, is imagined, or reimagined , as a Mermaid. This multi-cultural mash up of Greek myth, French espistolary novel and neo-Carribean fantasy makes for a good show. Only until 27th July @frithstreetgallery this Callum Innes survey is so persuasive that you only anticipate the big museum show all the more. The 90s pieces made a great impression, feeling very contemporary indeed. Self studied at Norwich School of Art before attending the Slade School of Art in London during the early 1960s, where he met fellow artists David Hockney and Peter Blake.
